This was a pre-vis project for a possible Twilight Zone The movie II. I was contracted back in 99 by the project producer to develop an updated version of the original intro sequence. The deadline and budget was tight but the ideas we discussed came together fairly well and on schedule. Unfortunately the project never progressed past the pre-vis process.
As the shot opens the viewer is flying through blue green nebulous gasses. As the nebula clears the various elements are revealed. For this project the door and eye shots were completed. The door emerges from a bright flair and the eye with reflected nebula, shatters into shards of glass. Finally the Twilight Zone logo appears with streaming light beams.
